INDICATION –
- Allergic Rhinitis, Allergic Asthma, Asthmatic Bronchitis,
- Urticaria and Allergic Dermatitis,
Allergic Rhinitis comorbid with Asthma.
MODE OF ACTION
- Antihistamines work by neutralizing the effect of histamines that are released in the bloodstream during an allergic reaction.
- Antihistamines can reduce symptoms when taken after the allergic reaction begins.
- However, they are most effective when taken 3 to 5 hours before coming into contact with an allergen or on a regular basis.
- Antihistamines are the medications used to treat allergic symptoms.
- Selective leukotrine receptor antagonist that inhibits the cysteinyl leukotrine receptor.
- Used to prevent both allergic rhinitis symptoms asthma-related symptoms.
- Leukotrines are often involved with the constriction of airway in the lungs.
- Leukotrine Modifier in treating allergic rhinitis, in combination with oral antihistamines, is more effective than the individual therapy.
